Electricity from the sun

A photovoltaic system converts solar energy into electric current using the photoelectric effect of the silicon, a semiconductor element widely used in all electronic devices.
If over one year the total solar energy received by a 2mq area in Central Italy is equivalent to an average annual power consumption of a family ( 3.000 kWh):  you can easily realize how much electricity can be produced by the sun.

Minimum costs and zero emissions

  • total absence of polluting emissions
  • fossil fuel savings
  • reduced maintenance costs
  • extreme reliability (life provided more than 25 years)
  • modular system (increase the number of modules to increase the power )
  • incentives and financing can reduce to zero installation costs

Capacity of the system

Randazzo Energy - Impianti fotovoltaici
Photovoltaic systems up to 200 KWp
They are systems with low maintenance and low operating costs, particularly suitable for installation in private properties, commercial and small business activities. For residential applications the power of the system is mostly limited to 6 kWp.

Photovoltaic systems exceeding 200 KWp
They are realized primarily by companies involved in the production of electricity for both home consumption and for sale. Management costs are higher because of the taxation, but the maintenance costs are still low.
